As an introvert it’s hard for me to release work that’s still in the “sketch” phase.

For example, in this song I’m just borrowing cliche drum loops to hold time. I haven’t spent enough time crafting a unique tone for the main synths, and the entire texture is still a bit bare. I’ve done no fancy mixing or mastering, and I’ve only written 16 bars of lyrics. But you can hear some of the ideas that I want to bring out.

I’ve always enjoyed looking at the sketches of other artists. At times the sketch can be more interesting than the finished artwork.
